AFFIRMATION PRACTICE:
Yang ENERGY

Yang energy is one half of the Taoist concept of Yin and Yang, which represents the duality and balance of opposing forces in the universe. Yang is typically associated with qualities that are active, dynamic, and masculine. It embodies traits such as:

  • Action and movement: Yang energy is about doing, taking initiative, and progress. It drives outward expression and activity.

  • Heat and light: Often linked with warmth, brightness, and the sun, yang brings vitality and power.

  • Expansiveness: In contrast to Yin's inward focus, yang reaches outwards, expands, and seeks growth.

  • Strength and assertiveness: Yang energy reflects confidence, willpower, and determination.

  • Masculine principle: Though not necessarily tied to gender, yang is traditionally considered the masculine aspect, complementing Yin's feminine principle.

In many philosophies and practices, such as Qi Gong or Traditional Chinese Medicine, balance between Yin and Yang is essential for well-being. An excess of yang energy can lead to issues like restlessness, stress, or aggression, while a deficiency might result in sluggishness or lack of motivation.

Yang energy is often associated with fire, the summer season, and the daytime—representing times of high activity and growth.

about yin and yang

Yin and Yang represent a universal principle of duality that governs all aspects of existence. This balance is reflected in natural cycles, such as day and night or summer and winter. The concept suggests that opposites are interdependent and together create the dynamics of life. For instance, positive and negative charges generate electrical currents, while temperature differences between hot and cold drive physical movement and flow. Yin and Yang illustrate that contrast is essential for energy, activity, and the rhythm of life.

journaling

· How am I following my highest excitement, and what steps am I taking to act on it?

· What beliefs or thoughts are shifting to create a more positive and empowering reality?

· What synchronicities, positive outcomes, or manifestations am I noticing?

🌕 night practice

Yoga Nidra is an excellent practice to do right before going to sleep.

A proper use of Yoga Nidra can help with your sleep onset, ensuring you fall asleep quickly and are able to stay asleep throughout the night. Other benefits of Yoga Nidra include: Helping calm your sympathetic nervous system, otherwise known as the “fight or flight” response, and fosters a feeling of soothing relaxation.

EXTRA PRACTICE:
☁️ DREAM JOURNAL ☁️

An optional additional practice is to keep a journal next to your bed and start journaling your dreams right when you wake up.

Why?

Well, by recording your dreams, you can identify recurring themes, symbols, or patterns in your subconscious mind.

It can improve your ability to experience lucid dreams (which is something we will explore in future programs). As it helps you become more aware of your dream patterns and increases your ability to recognize when you are dreaming.

Also, dreams can be a rich source of creative ideas. Many artists, writers, and inventors have drawn inspiration from their dreams.
