now, YOGA

Patanjali’s first teaching from the Yoga Sutras is “atha yoga anushasanam”, which means “now, the practice of yoga begins.”

Let’s start with some rounds of Surya Namaskar to prepare the body for meditation.

Watch the video to learn more, or if you already know the practice and the breathing pattern, you can use the audio below with the mantras to guide your flow.

The Eternal Way, also known as “Sanātana Dharma” in the Vedic tradition and “The Tao” in Chinese tradition, represents a set of principles and practices considered timeless and universal, transcending human history and societal changes.

Concepts like “Wu Wei” and “Nishkamakarma” – doing things with joy and detachment from outcomes – emphasize the paradoxical power of “less is more.”

Focusing on tasks in a relaxed and graceful way, without obsessing or insisting on the outcome, ultimately results in more productivity, less stress, and an alignment with the ebb and flow of nature.

This active meditation is for you to listen to while doing other things: going for a walk, doing yoga, or cleaning the house. Let this affirmation be in the background, and you will observe how your attention drifts away, only to come back. You will pay attention to the messages you need to hear.

Feel free to repeat the affirmations, or just allow your mind to wander, letting the subliminal messages be absorbed by your subconscious mind.

Duration: 42 mins

ACTIVE MEDITATION:
THE ETERNAL WAY

journaling

· How am I following my highest excitement, and what steps am I taking to act on it?

· What beliefs or thoughts are shifting to create a more positive and empowering reality?

· What synchronicities, positive outcomes, or manifestations am I noticing?

🌕 night practice

Yoga Nidra is an excellent practice to do right before going to sleep.

A proper use of Yoga Nidra can help with your sleep onset, ensuring you fall asleep quickly and are able to stay asleep throughout the night. Other benefits of Yoga Nidra include: Helping calm your sympathetic nervous system, otherwise known as the “fight or flight” response, and fosters a feeling of soothing relaxation.

EXTRA PRACTICE:
☁️ DREAM JOURNAL ☁️

An optional additional practice is to keep a journal next to your bed and start journaling your dreams right when you wake up.

Why?

Well, by recording your dreams, you can identify recurring themes, symbols, or patterns in your subconscious mind.

It can improve your ability to experience lucid dreams (which is something we will explore in future programs). As it helps you become more aware of your dream patterns and increases your ability to recognize when you are dreaming.

Also, dreams can be a rich source of creative ideas. Many artists, writers, and inventors have drawn inspiration from their dreams.
