HARMONIZING
THE DOJO

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese practice that focuses on harmonizing individuals with their surrounding environment. It originates from the Taoist understanding of nature, particularly the concept of qi (or chi), which is the vital life force that flows through everything. The goal of Feng Shui is to optimize the flow of qi in a space, creating balance, health, prosperity, and well-being.

There is no better way to start your daily practice than harmonizing your dojo. Take 20 minutes to go through your space, decluttering it and allowing the energy to move better. Learn more here

sacral or svadhishthana chakra

The sacral chakra, also known as Svadhisthana in Sanskrit, is the second chakra in the traditional chakra system, situated about two inches below the navel. It is associated with creativity, passion, pleasure, and sexuality, and is closely linked to the element of water. This chakra governs both emotional and physical aspects of the body, particularly reproductive organs, the bladder, and kidneys. Emotionally, it is responsible for how we experience pleasure, creativity, and our ability to form healthy relationships.

A balanced sacral chakra can manifest as a free flow of creative energy, emotional balance, and fulfilling relationships. On the other hand, blockages or imbalances can lead to issues such as low libido, lack of creativity, intimacy struggles, or emotional detachment.

Physical symptoms can include lower back pain, kidney issues, and sexual dysfunction. Healing the sacral chakra often involves practices that restore its natural flow, such as meditation, creative expression, aromatherapy with essential oils like sandalwood and ylang-ylang, and spending time near water to connect with its associated element.

· What is my relationship with pleasure, and how can I allow myself to fully experience joy and sensuality?
